Gloucestershire Archives is the public archives service for Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.
From our site in Gloucester – not far from the railway station and rugby ground – we collect, preserve and share the documentary history of the two counties.
We work regularly with volunteers and community groups on heritage projects and to support their activities, and to further improve access to the material we hold.
To find out more about the wide range of activities we’re involved in, please go to our website: www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/archives. From there you can search our online catalogue, arrange to pre-order a document in advance of your visit to our searchroom, or get in touch with us about anything else.
